It's a ten minute walk from the main village. Life in the Pelion region’s Trikeri Island is simpler and slower here than the mainland, with just one shop, two bars, and two Tavernas. Even in the height of summer the pace of life here is mellow.

Beaches, Crystal Blue Waters
On Trikeri are several sand and shingle beaches, great for swimming, snorkelling, fishing and boating.

Travelling from the UK to Greece by Air, we have compiled the following travel tips.
Once you hit mainland Greece you will need to complete the rest of your trip to Trikeri by land and Sea.
Airports near Trikeri
Airports that give access to the island are Volos, Thessaloniki, Athens and Skiathos.

There are also flights to Skiathos where you can then catch a ferry onto Volos and from Volos to Trikeri.
Once in Greece.
There is a good Bus and train service from Athens and Thessaloniki running frequently throughout the day to Volos.
There are plenty of good hire car companies at the airport
Avis, Budget, Green Motion, Hertz and many more.
Once in Volos if you have arrived by bus or train you will need to make your way around the Pelion peninsular, by taxi or there is a sparce bus service which will take you to within 2 miles of Allogoporos, from Allogoporos you will need a taxi.
Allogoporos is where you will get the boat across to the island. There are two boat taxis in operation running all day until late at night, very reasonably priced 5.00 - 10 euros approx depending on where on the island you are being dropped off.
If you need collecting from Volos this can be arrange at a cost of £100 for all your party .
